About the Awards

Eligibility: Any company or organisation operating in Australia, private or public, regardless of size or industry is eligible to enter. This includes multi-national subsidiaries, partnerships, franchises, community organisations, registered charities, government departments, agencies and local government bodies. read more

Industry Classifications: All entrants are adjudicated within their respective industry group. The Australian & New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) is utilised to segment recipients to their respective industry. read more

Award Categories: There are twenty award categories for each industry classification. Entrants may participate in multiple award categories however, a separate entry must be submitted for each award category entered. read more

Key Criteria: Organisations that demonstrate a commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a manner that goes beyond their financial and legal obligations will be honoured with this award. Submissions should provide evidence of a CSR strategy that integrates social concerns into their everyday business operations including policies, actions or projects that positively impact the community in terms of the environment, employment, education or charitable work.

Key Criteria: Organisations recognised with this award will demonstrate leadership and commitment to the enhancement, preservation and protection of the environment. Achievements can include but are not limited to the development and implementation of new or innovative environmental standards, techniques or practices, the sustainable management of natural resources including soil, water resources, natural vegetation and wildlife, effective communication or education programs raising public awareness and understanding of environmental issues and/or innovations.
